Kinbasket Lake Campgrounds
Campgrounds on the Canoe Reach of Kinbasket Reservoir, just south of Valemount, are managed by the Valemount Marina Association, on behalf of the province’s Rec Sites and Trails Branch. We’re open from June 1st to Sept 15th and have caretakers at the marina throughout that season.
There are four camping sites as you travel down the East Canoe Forest Service Road from Highway 5 and Cedarside or Whiskey Fill Rd: Yellowjacket Creek (10 sites), Griffin Sawmill (9 sites), Horse Creek (22 sites), and the Marina itself (17 camp sites).
All campgrounds are available for tent/camper/RV camping (no services) pit toilets, picnic tables and fire rings.
The Valemount Marina has a boat launch, camping and parking, a community shelter and kids play area.
Not available. Contact us about booking Griffin Sawmill site for groups.
Yes, but no services.
Forestry campgrounds, on the edge of Kinbasket Reservoir. Tons of recreation opportunities including boating and hunting, but be aware you are traveling on forestry service roads, and you share the roads with trucks and equipment as well as other recreation users.
