The Valemount Visitor Centre is the perfect first stop when visiting Valemount. Our friendly staff is here to provide you with great local and provincial information, from helping you find accommodations that fit your needs, to booking the perfect activities and attractions in the area. Browse through our Valemount souvenirs as well as arts and crafts from local artisans. A computer with internet access (temporarily unavailable due to COVID-19) as well as free WiFi is available for visitor use.
Visitors will find a variety of displays about the local wildlife including the Swift Creek Chinook Salmon Run. Come and witness the spectacular Chinook salmon spawning in Swift Creek in August; it is an amazing experience, and only a two-minute walk from the centre.
