Valemount Museum, located in the Valemount Historic Railway Station, British Columbia has something for every member of the family.
The museum has three levels in the main building with displays on rail camps and towns, a model railway, Japanese Internment Camp display, Valemount Pioneers and War Hero’s, Margaret McKirdy sculptures, James Vanslyk Art, a Pioneer Kitchen, Early Settlers stories and items, Outfitting and Trapper’s Cabin display. We also have a restored CN Caboose as well as logging and farming artifacts located in the museum annex.
We have a gift shop with locally published books, pamphlets and Canadian National Railway items.
The Valemount Museum is a designated Heritage Railway Station/building.
