Situated at 6300 ft. elevation, this new log cabin can only be reached by hiking 5.5 km, with a 3000 ft. elevation gain. Once you are there, you can hike all day from your doorstep to alpine meadows and mountain peaks, or rejuvenate in the fresh mountain lake nearby.
