Geocache
Geocaches are hidden throughout the region by the Valemount Museum and local enthusiasts.
Some can be found on trails accessible by hiking, biking, horseback riding, or ATVing.

Geocaching is a budget-friendly adventure suitable for all ages.
How to geocache
Sign up for an account on Geocaching.com or via the Geocaching® app to access a map of geocaches.
Use the app to navigate to a geocache. Make sure to bring a pen.
Once you find the geocache, examine its contents, sign and date the logbook, then return it to its original location.
Log your experience online to share your adventure with others.
Guidebook
Enhance your exploration with the Geocache Edition Historic Hikes booklet. It features over ten self-guided hikes, each highlighting heritage sites across Valemount, Albreda, Tête Jaune Cache, and Red Pass–complete with GPS coordinates.
The pamphlet contains a stamp page for you to collect at least 10 stamps from each geocache, to earn a unique collectible coin.
The booklet can be purchased from Valemount Museum, Valemount Visitor Centre, and Infinity Office and Health.
